What Can You Expect?
We’re looking for a motivated, compassionate individual who is structured and committed to providing outstanding customer experiences. You would be responsible for planning and controlling the daily movement of medically eligible patient journeys to and from their healthcare appointments in our non-emergency ambulances. The aim of this role is to ensure precise controlling and planning of the ambulances, to allow eligible patients to get to and from their appointments in a timely manner, whilst ensuring mobility requirements of the booked journey are met. We are looking to fill two positions on 9-month fixed-term contracts. These roles offer 37.5 hours per week, with shifts scheduled across Monday to Sunday between 5:30am and 8:00pm.
Summary Of Main Duties Include:
- Planning and controlling the daily movement of ambulance journeys transporting eligible patients to and from their healthcare appointments.
- Allocating physical resources and patient journeys using the Cleric System to our crew members and Volunteer Car Service workers.
- Liaising with healthcare professionals and hospital departments to maximise the utilisation of the available vehicles and staff.
- Building effective relationships with crews to ensure the best possible patient experience.
- Working within a team to make decisions about transportation which deliver the best outcomes for patients.
