We have an opening for a PTS Mentor role at Bournemouth Base.
The PTS Mentor role will be part of your ACA role and pays an extra £1,000 per annum on top of your current salary.
The purpose of role is to act as a figure of support and guidance to your colleagues and perform a crucial role in driving best practice, as well as increasing both operational and quality assurance for the service.
Summary Of Main Duties Include:
To undertake frequent observed practice and deliver constructive feedback to ACAs.
Act as New Starter Mentors and being the first point of contact for ACAs who are new to the business, to address any concerns and provide guidance.
Cover elements of the Station Managers role when they are absent/on annual leave.
Act as a fire warden for the base.
Assist the Station Managers with station and vehicle compliance, including, but not limited to: IPC, Uniform Checks and Vehicle Spot Checks.
Assess driving, both onboard vehicles and using advanced telematics, once implemented.
Relay refresher and bariatric training to ACAs when required.
