Sous chef required in North Wales for a fantastic location. This is live in and the food is all fresh food. It is a popular location all year round; however, on the hot summer days, it is a real destination spot.
The role involves being responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen when the head chef is not on site. The food is fresh, using great Welsh and British produce. The menu includes standard gastro pub items, and during the summer, there is a high volume of customers due to the location.
You will be hands-on cooking, running the pass when the head chef is not present, and managing a section when the head chef is in. This role includes all the standard sous chef duties.
Experience:
- We are looking for a fresh food chef with good knife skills.
- Able to cook well-presented dishes.
- In the summer months, able to work with volume.
- You will be a sous chef or a senior sous chef with a fresh food chef background.
Location: North Wales (a couple of minutes' walk from the site). Limited public transport; your own transport is important.
