Sales Executive / Sales Manager required for a freight forwarding company that covers the M62 corridor from Leeds to Manchester. This sales role will be a combination of meeting clients to build relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, getting repeat business and growing your patch.
This role offers a hybrid approach with 2 hybrid days and 3 office days; however, some of the office days might be meeting clients. The job title is a Sales Executive; however, the role/package is more of a sales manager role.
Salary: £35k, bonus of up to £7500, a company car.
You do not need a freight forwarding background, just a logistics background in sales or an account manager looking to develop in sales.
The role:
- As a Sales Executive / Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of your patch.
- You will ensure your patch sales are maximised.
- You will increase the GP side of the freight solutions you are selling and build relationships with new clients.
- This role will include all the standard Sales Executive / Sales Manager duties.
Experience:
- We are looking for a Sales Executive / Sales Manager with a logistics sales background or an account manager looking to grow in sales.
- You will have an understanding of the freight forwarding market.
- You will be able to do face-to-face meetings and also phone/Zoom meetings.
The bonus is based on the GP made from your freight bookings; it is 5% of the GP.
Company car, laptop/mobile. Hybrid: 2 days a week and 3 days office-based.
