Head Chef required in the Ambleside area for a Fresh Food Gastro Pub style kitchen. Salary is £40K and live in accommodation is available. This establishment is set in a stunning, picturesque location where you will have access to great produce. This role is suitable for a Chef already at Head Chef level and also for a Sous Chef/Senior Sous Chef who is looking for more responsibility and a step up.

Job Description

The role:
As a Head Chef you will be running the kitchen and manage a team of 5 chefs. You will ensure everything runs smoothly in the kitchen, carry out the food orders, cleaning rotas and ensure the weekly cleaning is done by the KP. You will also ensure the chefs are trained and each section is ready for service. Being a small team, it will be a hands on role as well as running the pass. This role will include all the normal Head Chef duties
Experience:
We are looking for a Head Chef from a fresh food background who has experience at Head Chef level or a Sous Chef/Senior Sous Chef looking for more responsibility and a step up.
