A Chef de partie role is required for an establishment within a fresh food kitchen, focusing on local seasonal produce. The role involves daytime hours (9am to 6pm, Wednesday to Sunday) and participation in launching a new menu.
As a chef de partie, you will be responsible for the preparation of the kitchen ready for service and cooking during service. The establishment opens late morning to late afternoon and is closed in the evenings. This role includes all normal chef de partie duties, but you may sometimes work alone in the kitchen.
Experience: We are looking for a chef de partie from a fresh food background. This role requires good food hygiene, knife skills, and a passion for British local produce.
Additional Information: Candidates need to drive. Possible live-in accommodation is available if relocating. Salary is £32-36k + service charge of £4-5k, near Eastbourne.
