Head chef required for a production kitchen in North London. The role is mainly Monday to Friday daytime hours (7am to 5:30pm). Accessible via Piccadilly and Central lines. This is a production kitchen for meal-prep meals ordered online and sent to customers' homes. Meals are cooked in small batches to lock in freshness and avoid mass production.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the production side runs smoothly and the team of four chefs operates efficiently.
- Cook meals to the required standard and ready for dispatch.
- Maintain quality, enforce quality control, and ensure compliance with food hygiene laws.
- Perform all standard head chef duties.
Qualifications & Experience
- Head chef from a fresh-food background.
- Experience with production cookery and capable of running a small team.
- Knowledge of batch booking.
Details
- Daytime 7am β 5:30pm, Monday-Friday.
- Location: North London (accessible via Piccadilly and Central lines).
- Pay: Β£15.50 β Β£16 per hour (β Β£43k per year over five days).
