Sales Manager - HYBRID (1 office day, 4 days hybrid) required for a south Manchester Air & Ocean freight forwarder, about 70% of the trade is air freight with 30% being ocean. This Sales Manager role is remote/field based with only about 1 day a week in the office.
The role will include going to trade shows, meeting clients, and driving new business. The company does both imports and exports.
We are looking for a candidate as a Sales Manager who will attend trade shows and events, meet clients, find new business, and drive forward the freight forwarding business. This company is looking to grow over the coming years and this role is very important for that. This Sales Manager role includes all the standard sales manager duties.
Experience: We are looking for a sales manager who is great at relationship building and growing a patch. You will have knowledge of the import/export market within air freight forwarding and some ocean freight forwarding knowledge is also helpful. You will be a good communicator and good at winning business.
