Road freight forwarder required for a logistics company in Manchester, close to the motorway network. This role will cover road freight and customs as well.customs clearance experiences via CDSare essential to this role. The freight forwarder role, £26-31k depending on experience. They are willing to train on the road freight expeirence if you have a customs clearance background. The role As a freight forwarder you will be Liaising with customers / hauliers to arrange transport / bookings,Key account assistance taking on house accounts to develop and retain,Road pricing this includes LTL, FTL, EU Cross Trades, OOG shipments. you will also be Preparing customs entries on imports and exports ensuring a high level of accuracy and full compliance.
