Field-based / remote Business Development Manager required for a freight forwarding company in the UK. This company is a UK freight forwarder who covers Ocean freight and also some Air freight and Road. This is a field based / remote role that covers the North of England. Ideally, you will be based around the Midlands. This is a remote based role, working from home and meeting clients on a regular basis. You will have meeting each week with both new and repeat clients. £40-50k basic + bonus + car allowance + laptop + mobile The role As a Business Development Manager you will be the face of the company within your patch. You will book in meetings, work a pipeline strategy, focus on seasonal trends and regional trends, you will look at the strategy in the North of England and to win new clients in this area and take current clients on a journey for repeat business and extra container bookings.
