VIVE Arts commissions, produces, and distributes groundbreaking immersive experiences in partnership with world-class artists and institutions—expanding creative possibilities for artists and enabling institutions to animate cultural heritage in bold new ways that reach wider audiences. With significant expertise in the arts, culture, and technology, VIVE Arts empowers artists and institutions to harness immersive arts and technologies. This opens new modes of storytelling, experimentation and exhibition and supports a dynamic ecology for digital innovation in the arts, from creation through to distribution. Since its founding in 2017, VIVE Arts has realized more than 75 projects worldwide. VIVE Arts is a small, dynamic, international team based across New York, London, Taipei, and Shanghai. The VIVE Arts Programme department commissions and produces all VIVE Arts projects. We work with a wide range of external partners including artists and creatives, cultural institutions, studios and production companies, as well as internal teams at VIVE Arts and wider HTC. We are a team of four, based in London, with one team member based in Taipei.

- The award-winning immersive production Playing with Fire: An Immersive Odyssey with Yuja Wang (2025), co-produced with Atlas V, currently touring and selected in the Immersive Competition at Cannes Film Festival 2026;

- La Magie Opéra - Palais Garnier (2025);
- Versailles: Lost Gardens of the Sun King - Château de Versailles (2024);
- Heartbreak and Magic by Libby Heaney (2024).
We are looking for an experienced producer to oversee the production and touring of major international immersive projects in VIVE Arts’ programme. The position will work closely with the Head of Programme on touring existing location-based experiences and on the early stages and across production phases for new projects, in collaboration with co-producers and institutional partners. The role requires the candidate to have significant experience in production, budgeting and forecasting, contracting, and international touring. It will require travel for both development of new productions and touring projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production and delivery of large-scale touring location-based experiences, scoping and managing arrangements with venues or distribution partners including contracts, design/technical/installation planning, scheduling, and other operational logistics, liaising with external partners and stakeholders, in particular creative team members and technical deployment teams.
- Support business development and liaison with prospective tour venues.
- Oversee, negotiate and manage contracts, budgets, and team logistics for touring projects.
- Represent VIVE Arts on-site for installation/opening events as needed, oversee installation in collaboration with venue, production/deployment team, and/or distribution partners.
- Support the scoping and development of new productions, across both creative and commercial, and contract negotiation in collaboration with Head of Programme.
- Line produce new productions through R&D/pre-production, production, installation and touring in close collaboration with external partners - creative/technical team members, co-producers, studios, institutional partners.
- Manage the timely execution of project contracts and payments and ensure they are processed and approved swiftly through internal systems, in consultation with internal Legal and Finance staff.
- Regularly report to Head of Programme and other internal team members on project status, manage project documentation, and support evaluation and monitoring throughout.
- Additional departmental/administrative responsibilities as required.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in touring and producing large-scale creative audience-facing projects in relevant sectors (arts/culture, digital/immersive).
- Excellent organisational, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work with independence, think strategically and creatively, prioritise effectively, and deliver to a high standard.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally/internationally frequently, flexible working with teams across time zones.
- Commercial mindset with skills/experience in business development and managing complex budgets and forecasts.
- A positive, flexible and collaborative attitude.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of and/or experience with immersive/emerging technologies in an arts/cultural context - virtual reality, mixed reality, real-time 3D production, AI, motion and volumetric capture, projection mapping.
- Familiarity with AI tools, particularly as applied to creative production and/or project management contexts, with an understanding of the broader cultural discourse around AI technologies and creative practice.
- Fluency in French.
