About Your Next Opportunity
HTC is seeking a visionary and technically proficient AI Eyewear Glasses Designer to conceptualize, develop, and refine eyewear designs powered by artificial intelligence. This unique role requires a blend of creative design skills, a strong understanding of AI principles, and an appreciation for user experience, ergonomics, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for eyewear fashion, an in-depth understanding of eyewear trends, materials, and manufacturing processes, and a keen eye for detail. This role involves conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative eyewear collections from initial sketches to final production-ready designs.

Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Trend Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to ensure our products remain competitive and desirable.
• Concept Development: Research and identify emerging trends in fashion, art, and eyewear to inspire new concepts and collections.
• Design & Prototyping: Sketch, illustrate, 3d data build, and digitally render innovative eyewear designs (frames, sunglasses, and optical accessories) while considering ergonomic principles. Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for prototypes.
• Material Selection: Collaborate with suppliers to research and select appropriate materials (acetate, metal, titanium, wood, etc.) that align with design aesthetics, functionality, and budget.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with product managers, engineers, marketing teams, and external partners to ensure designs are feasible for production, maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills And Abilities)

• Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience as an Eyewear Designer.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of eyewear designs, from concept to production.
• Proficiency in design-relevant 2D/3D modeling and rendering tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, ProE, Keyshot, and Cinema 4D.
• Excellent understanding of eyewear fashion trends, aesthetics, and consumer behavior, ergonomic principles, as well as manufacturing processes and materials.
• Exceptional sketching, rendering, and visualization skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate design concepts in English.
