To work as part of the production engineering team to support Sunday Services and other events at HTB and the wider group. This role will involve taking a lead role in maintaining and upkeeping venues through repair, servicing, and installation of production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take a lead role in the maintenance and upkeep of venues through repair, servicing, and installation of production equipment.
  • Oversee the production equipment stores across all sites, including warehouses, ensuring that all stores have the correct consumables and equipment required for events and services.
  • Ensure all equipment, consumables, and installed equipment stock levels are accurate on the department CRM system, and report usage to the production projects team for re-charging.
  • Prepare, de-prepare, and transport production equipment for onsite and offsite events and services.
  • Take a lead role in servicing production equipment, including speakers, amplifiers, digital mixing consoles, lighting, cameras, cables, power distribution, and staging.
  • Act as the lead engineer for all PAT testing and basic electrical repairs for production, media, and worship equipment, supporting HTB Production, Creative, and Worship as required.
  • Support the wider production engineering team with onsite installations and preparations, including pre-building racks, making cable looms, and prepping tools and PPE kits.
  • Support the Technical Production Supervisor with the live maintenance schedule where required.
  • Work with production management and supervisors to ensure technical consistency across venues and projects.
  • Support, motivate, and train production volunteers through regular catch-ups and formal training programs.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Highly competent in audio, video, and lighting systems.
  • Experience in repairing and maintaining technical production equipment.
  • Experience with asset management or CRM systems.
  • Ability to prioritize a busy workload and problem-solve as issues arise.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and a team player.
  • Ability to lift and carry production equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical and network systems.
  • Full clean driving license.
