We are looking for a passionate and capable Youth Pastor to provide leadership in the organising, planning, and delivery of our youth ministry, while pastoring young people and supporting the youth team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the delivery of the weekly youth programme
  • Pastor and disciple young people through 1:1s, Pods, and group settings
  • Oversee and develop key youth spaces (e.g. Upper Room, Gaming, Young Guns)
  • Plan and deliver youth events and conferences (e.g. Leadership Conference, Youth Weekend Away, Focus Youth)
  • Recruit, train, onboard, and support the youth team community
  • Provide pastoral care to teenagers and the wider youth team
  • Build relationships with local schools and engage young people in the community
  • Manage communications (parent emails, team updates, term dates, event promotion)
  • Support financial and administrative processes (expenses, POs, production and verger requests)
  • Represent HTB Youth through speaking engagements and resource creation
  • Line manage members of the youth staff team

Qualifications:

  • Proven record working with young people
  • Passion for and knowledge of HTB Youth
  • Able to lead a small group competently
  • Committed Christian for this pastoral role
  • High degree of administrative ability with a keen eye for detail
  • Highly organised with experience in an administrative role
