We are looking for an organised and detail‑focused Publications Lead to oversee the smooth running of Alpha UK’s Alpha Shop and related publishing operations. Working closely with our eCommerce supplier and key internal stakeholders, you will manage stock, sales reporting, supplier relationships and pop‑up shops at Alpha events across the UK. This role plays a vital part in ensuring churches are resourced well and that our publishing and retail operations run efficiently and accurately. This is a part-time 21 hours a week role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with key suppliers (including Yeomans and Kingsway CLC Trust), ensuring high‑quality service delivery and clear communication.
  • Act as the main UK point of contact with the Alpha Global Publishing Team, coordinating print, publications and language editions of core Alpha resources.
  • Oversee stock management, including reviewing reports, forecasting demand, ordering new stock and managing deliveries.
  • Track, analyse and report on sales data across multiple channels, providing insights to inform marketing, communications and product decisions.
  • Coordinate monthly sales reporting, finance audits and annual stock takes, ensuring accurate and timely data for HTB Group Finance and Global Publishing teams.
  • Project manage pop‑up shops at Alpha events (e.g. Leadership Conference, This is Alpha, Alpha Series launches), including stock preparation, logistics, sales reporting and returns.
  • Ensure product listings, descriptions and images are accurate and up to date across the Alpha Shop and partner platforms.
  • Process invoices and internal orders, liaising closely with finance, publishers and internal teams.
  • Support customer services with product and stock enquiries.
  • Represent Alpha UK at relevant publishing and retail industry events and meetings.

Minimum Requirements

  • Knowledge of Alpha with a passion for our values.
  • Proven ability to manage complex administration efficiently.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong skills in managing data and presenting data on MS Excel.
  • An ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to meet deadlines.
