We are recruiting for a Kids Pastor who is passionate about pursuing Jesus and seeing children encounter God. The HTB Kids Pastor will play a key role in leading and growing the children's ministry at HTB Onslow Square. They will be based on-site every Sunday for both the 10:30am and 4:30pm services, creating a welcoming and dynamic environment where children feel known, loved, and part of the wider HTB family.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of HTB Kids at Onslow Square on Sundays, ensuring the smooth running of the 10:30 and 4:30 services.
  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum that helps children grow in faith and enjoy being part of church.
  • Build genuine relationships with children and families, creating a culture that is fun, inclusive, and rooted in the love of Jesus.
  • Collaborate with the Onslow Square staff team to ensure that families are engaged within the HTB community.
  • Responsible for the Onslow Square volunteer rota and ensuring volunteers have all the relevant checks in place to volunteer.

Volunteer Management

  • Recruit, train and empower a strong team of volunteers to serve across the HTB Kids services through sharing the vision, encouragement, regular support and clear communication.
  • Plan and lead three ‘All-In Team Night' per year alongside the HTB Kids staff, providing high-quality training and community building activities.
  • Develop a training programme to develop and raise new leaders at HTB Kids.
