We are looking for a skilled and service‑oriented Junior Production Engineer to deliver high‑quality Sunday Services and a wide range of events across HTB and the wider group. If you enjoy hands‑on technical work, creative problem‑solving, and working in fast‑paced environments, this could be the perfect next step for you.

Event Delivery & Technical Operation

  • Operate as an engineer across core production disciplines for Sunday Services and mid‑week events, including:
  • Front of House Audio
  • Vision Mixing
  • Camera Directing
  • Camera Operation
  • Lighting Operation
  • Take on Venue or Stage Manager responsibilities for assigned services and events, ensuring smooth and professional onsite coordination under the guidance of senior production leads.
  • Prepare, de‑prep, and transport production equipment for onsite and offsite events in an organised and timely manner.
  • Venue & Equipment Maintenance

    • Assist with installations, basic repairs, and general upkeep of production equipment and areas.
    • Support the maintenance and development of HTB venues to ensure all production spaces remain functional, safe, and ready for use.

    Team & Volunteer Support

    • Contribute actively to the day‑to‑day running of the team with a flexible, service‑minded attitude.
    • Resolve routine production tasks and technical issues efficiently.
    • Support and encourage volunteers through regular check‑ins, helping to deliver training and build confidence within the production team.

    Requirements

    • Working knowledge of live event audio, video, and lighting systems.
    • Ability to carry out basic sound checks in a live environment.
    • Experience operating production equipment in services, events, or similar settings (minimum 1 year, or equivalent practical experience).
    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve straightforward technical issues during live events.
    • Confidence in safely lifting, carrying, and moving production equipment.
