VACANCY: Factory and Office Cleaner
LOCATION
Rotherham, S60 (Close to Meadowhall, Sheffield)
SHIFT
Saturday and Sunday 6am – 2pm
PAY
£13.21 Per Hour.
ABOUT US:
MTL Advanced is a Yorkshire-based, engineering and manufacturing company operating from a 390,000 sq. ft. facility in Rotherham.
We have invested in an extensive range of technology and equipment and provide services to a range of OEM’s from leading industries including defence, security, construction, quarrying, recycling and rail.
Our inhouse capabilities include, large format Laser Cutting and Press Braking, CNC Precision Machining, Fabrication & Welding, Shot Blasting, Painting and final Assembly.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Clean and sanitise designated areas using appropriate cleaning equipment; Offices, Outdoor and Factory environments
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, disposing of rubbish, cleaning windows, mirrors, glass surfaces
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Minor indoor and outdoor maintenance
- Ensure good working relationships with work and site employees
- Keep up to date with good working practices, products and techniques to ensure and maintain knowledge
- Safe use of cleaning materials and chemicals, in line with training
- Completion of daily cleaning tasks, and completion of all relevant documentation and checklists
ABOUT YOU:
- Reliable, punctual and dedicated to delivering high-quality results
- Have all round cleaning experience within in a manufacturing production
- Physically fit, and capable of working with heavy-duty cleaning equipment and chemicals
- A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas
