Join our Growing Recruitment Team at MTL Advanced. Due to continued business growth and the expansion of our Recruitment Team, MTL Advanced is looking to appoint an ambitious and driven In-House Recruiter to support our exciting growth plans. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and expanding manufacturing business where recruitment is valued as a key strategic function.

You’ll work closely with our recruitment team, hiring managers, senior leaders, and the Group Managing Director, playing a pivotal role in attracting and securing top talent across the organisation.

Recruiters Role & Responsibilities:
  • Source and recruit candidates through advertising, direct approaches (headhunting), and CV databases.
  • Partner with hiring managers, including senior leadership and the Group Managing Director.
  • Create and publish job adverts across company websites, job boards, and social media platforms.
  • Process starters and leavers in line with company and legal requirements.
  • Obtain and follow up on employment references.
  • Manage candidates throughout the full recruitment process:
    • Telephone screening
    • Interview coordination
    • Offer negotiation
    • Start date agreement
    • Employment contracts and offer letters
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Previous recruitment experience (engineering-sector recruitment preferred).
  • Experience managing the full recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Confidence to approach Senior Level professionals as a Head-Hunter and the ability to build relationships / trust.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly with recruitment systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Focus on improving efficiency and reducing recruitment costs.
