MTL Advanced is hiring due to a major expansion, marked by the opening of our brand-new manufacturing facility, based in Rotherham just 5 minutes away from Meadowhall shopping centre.
MTL Advanced is operating from an impressive 390,000 sq. feet facility.

Our inhouse capabilities include, large format Laser Cutting and Press Braking, CNC Precision Machining, Fabrication & Welding, Shot Blasting, Painting and final Assembly.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Ensure that the Company is adhering to all relevant Health and Safety legislation that support ISO 45001
- Support with the implementation of risk assessments
- Provide effective communications to all relevant departments to promote best Health and Safety practice
- Support accident investigation, record and graph all accident data and use the data to promote a no accident environment and culture
- Ensure that Safe Systems of Work are developed and Permits to Work are issued and controlled as necessary
- Instigate regular Safety Committee Meetings and ensure items discussed are agreed and actioned
- Ensure adequate first-aid provisions are made and accident investigation/recording and reporting requirements are met Ensure emergency plans and evacuations are practiced
- Make recommendations to Senior Management based on feedback from all employees via informal talks, surveys and questionnaires

- NEBOSH Qualification.
- PTLLS Qualification.
- Previous Health & Safety knowledge and experience along with FLT / Noise / COSHH.
- Knowledge of Safe Lifting & Slinging requirements.
- A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Ability to remain focused on quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas.
