The predicted salary is between 34650 - 42350 £ per year.

LOCATION: Rotherham, S60 (Close to Meadowhall, Sheffield)

PAY: £17.61 – £24.34 Depending on experience.

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday – Friday Rotating days 6am – 2pm, Afternoons 2pm – 10pm and Nights 10pm – 6am.

Our inhouse capabilities include large format Laser Cutting and Press Braking, CNC Precision Machining, Fabrication & Welding, Shot Blasting, Painting and final Assembly. Working as part of a skilled team, our CNC Setters and Programmers machine critical components which are used on a variety of projects within our well-known sectors. You will possess high standards of workmanship in order to comply with internal and customer specifications. You will need to be self-motivated and determined with consistently high standards.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
  • Set up and load materials onto the machine
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production
  • Maintain a clean and organise the work area
  • Further technical progression

ABOUT YOU:

  • Demonstrated experience as a CNC Setter / Operator.
  • Experience with precision measurement instruments
  • Ability to seamlessly interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Able to demonstrate excellent manufacturing practices
