About the Job: Accountant (Part Qualified) Location: North London, UK Employment Type: Permanent Permanent Salary: £33,750.00 to £35,000 per year Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm (35 hour work week) Job Description: Due to staff expansion, this accountancy practice is currently seeking a part qualified Accountant to work in the North London office. The successful candidate will be ambitious and hardworking, seeking to develop their skills to partnership level within this practice. The Part Qualified Accountant will be responsible for the following key tasks: Prepare accounts Prepare tax returns Prepare trial balances Assist with PAYE and prepare VAT-related activities Prepare accounts and tax returns for sole traders and corporate companies Maintain filing systems in adherence to organizational policies and procedures Update and maintain the database with accurate and current information Prepare reports and letters, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Answer and handle phone calls promptly and professionally Work with Excel and Xero software, as well as Microsoft Office Possess good communication skills Be organized Uphold strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Qualifications: Part qualified (ACA/ACCA) *Must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this role.
