GP Salaried Permanent Role.
Main duties of the job
- Based at one practice for usual GP work: see patients, administer blood reports, hospital letters.
- From time to time, provide clinical cover at other practices for GPs on leave and assist practices with temporary staffing needs.
- Enjoy 6 weeks of annual leave and indemnity cover.
- Work within a collaborative, experienced and friendly training environment using EMIS and Docman.
- No weekend or extended hours.

Essential
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practise.
- Completed MRCGP training programme, or due to complete MRCGP training imminently.
- Included on the NHS England GP Performers List, or eligible for inclusion.
- Evidence of recent experience in UK General Practice.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to high‑quality patient care and clinical governance.
- Competent in the use of clinical IT systems, including EMIS and Docman.
- Right to work in the UK, or eligible for Tier 2 visa sponsorship.
Desirable
- Experience working across multiple GP practices or networks.
- Special clinical interest (e.g. women’s health, minor surgery, palliative care, teaching).
- Previous experience in a training or mentoring environment.
- Additional qualifications or certifications relevant to General Practice.
- Experience with docman or similar document management systems.
