We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused HR Shared Services Specialist to join our Human Resources team.
The successful candidate must have experience using Dayforce HR Platform.

You will play a vital role in ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently, consistently, and compliantly, while contributing to the ongoing development of HR systems, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead onboarding activities, including offer letters, contracts, pre-employment screening, and Right to Work checks.
- Manage offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and professional employee departure experience.
- Respond to and triage HR queries received through shared mailboxes, providing timely and accurate support.
- Maintain accurate employee records and process employee lifecycle changes within HR systems.
- Ensure HR documentation is managed confidentially and in line with GDPR requirements.

- What You'll Be Doing
- HR Operations & Administration

- HR Advice & Employee Support
- Act as a first point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
- Support managers in handling routine employee issues, applying sound judgement and identifying appropriate escalation routes where needed.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and deliver a professional, customer-focused HR service.
- Identify trends in HR queries and recommend improvements to processes, guidance, and self-service resources.
- HR Systems & Data
- Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of HR systems and digital solutions.
- Assist with data migration, validation, cleansing, and system mapping activities.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to help improve system functionality and user experience.
- Develop user guides and support managers and employees with system adoption and self-service tools.
- Generate reports and analyse HR data to provide meaningful insights.
- Continuous Improvement
- Support initiatives that improve HR processes, workflows, and operational efficiency.
- Review and maintain HR procedures and documentation to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across the HR function.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience & Skills
- Experience using Dayforce, including employee data management, reporting, and analysis.
- Previous experience within a busy HR environment, supporting managers and employees across a broad range of HR matters.
- Experience triaging and managing employee-related queries and issues.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and UK employment legislation.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- High levels of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
