Jewellery Refurbishment and Disposition Operative

Location: Jewellery Centre / Distribution Hub

Contract: Full‑time, Permanent

About The Role

We’re looking for a jewellery refurb and disposition operative to join our Jewellery Centre team. This is a hands‑on, operational role supporting the accurate processing, classification, and distribution of jewellery received from around 300 retail stores. Working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment, you’ll play a key role in assessing incoming stock, directing items through the correct workflow streams (refurbishment, resale preparation, or scrap), and ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded. Your work will directly support stock flow, compliance, productivity targets, and revenue recovery. No previous jewellery experience is required – full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process jewellery received from retail stores through defined Jewellery Centre and distribution workflows
  • Assess and classify jewellery based on condition and suitability for refurbishment, in accordance with work instructions and quality standards
  • Carry out jewellery cleaning and refurbishment to a commercially acceptable standard following training
  • Accurately record all stock movements and classifications on internal systems to ensure audit compliance and inventory accuracy
  • Support end‑to‑end stock flow through the Jewellery Centre, including transferring items to internal teams and distribution channels
  • Work collaboratively with operational and distribution teams to meet productivity, accuracy, and turnaround targets
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment at all times

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need previous jewellery or distribution experience – we’re looking for reliable, detail‑focused team players who can follow structured processes and work efficiently.

Essential Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow clear processes, work instructions, and quality standards
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume operational environment
  • Basic IT and data entry skills
  • Ability to consistently meet productivity and accuracy targets

Why Join Us?

  • Full training provided, no jewellery experience required
  • Stable, process‑driven role within a busy operational and distribution environment
  • Opportunity to develop specialist skills in jewellery handling, refurbishment, and stock processing
  • Supportive team with clear procedures and structure
