Order Executive in Stretford

Responsibilities

As an Order Executive, you’ll play a key part in keeping things moving for our customers, suppliers, and internal teams. You’ll own the end‑to‑end process of purchase orders, solve problems, and make operations simpler, faster, and better.

• Manage and process customer orders with accuracy and care
• Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely equipment delivery
• Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions
• Use product knowledge to upsell and cross‑sell across different service lines
• Help customers navigate our digital platforms for faster, simpler ordering
• Handle all customer requests and logistics queries within agreed SLAs
• Coordinate third‑party carrier movements and ensure deliveries are completed as planned
• Prioritise preferred suppliers in line with contracts to maintain positive margins
• Negotiate with suppliers when needed to improve rates and maximise value
• Keep customers informed about our full range of products and services
• Meet and exceed key performance targets, including completion rates and profitability

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who knows how to get things done and works well with others to make it happen.

• Experience in the Tool Hire industry
• Excellent customer service skills and a genuine focus on delivering great experiences
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• Confidence working in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• A proactive, can‑do attitude with the resilience to get things done
