We’re looking for an experienced Bid Manager – Pricing to lead pricing strategy and commercial modelling across high-value bids and tenders. This is a commercially critical role where you’ll shape how we price, position and win complex opportunities. You’ll work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations and Legal to build competitive, profitable bids — balancing customer value with strong commercial outcomes.

A typical day:
- Lead pricing strategy and commercial modelling for major bids and tenders
- Develop compelling, data-led pricing proposals that support win strategies
- Analyse market conditions, customer expectations and competitor pricing
- Use insight to inform bid strategy and commercial positioning
- Present pricing recommendations, scenarios and risks to senior stakeholders
- Support bid governance and decision-making at pace
- Support post-bid reviews to assess pricing effectiveness and outcomes
- Track win/loss results and pricing trends to inform future strategies
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in pricing, commercial analysis or bid management
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with advanced Excel capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under pressure
- High attention to detail combined with a strategic, commercial mindset
- Experience within the hire, construction, infrastructure or services sector (Desirable not essential)
- Exposure to complex, high-value tenders or framework bids (Desirable not essential)
