The Role of a Transport Coordinator in our Aylesford CDC
- With the wider Transport team, you’ll plan, organise and coordinate the daily deliveries, exchanges and collections through our routing system.
- Monitor transport routes, smart phone compliance, jobs that are completed and on-time performance.
- Try to reduce wasted journeys as well as calling collections to confirm readiness for collection as well as supporting any problematic collections the same day.
- Be responsible for monitoring and managing the transport operation on a day-to-day basis whilst providing updates to both internal and external customers.
What do you need to succeed as an Transport Coordinator?
- A positive can do attitude, with good problem solving skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience working on computers & systems.
- Experience working in a customer facing role in a fast paced environment.
