We’re looking for a Supply Chain Auditor to safeguard the integrity of our supply chain. As an asset‑free marketplace business, our success depends on the quality and compliance of our supplier network. You’ll be responsible for conducting thorough audits to ensure our suppliers meet all regulatory requirements and uphold our exacting standards. This role is remote, with a lot of time being spent travelling to supplier locations and occasional travel to our Head Office in Manchester.
A typical day:
- Conduct comprehensive on‑site audits of suppliers across our network to assess compliance with all applicable health and safety, environmental, social and governance regulations and legislation.
- Evaluate supplier performance against our internal standards and policies, identifying areas of non‑compliance and potential risk to the business.
- Produce detailed audit reports with clear findings, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations for supplier improvement.
- Work collaboratively with suppliers to support them in achieving and maintaining compliance, providing guidance on best practices, regulatory requirements and ProService standards.
- Monitor supplier corrective action plans and conduct follow‑up audits to verify implementation of required improvements.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in auditing, compliance, or quality assurance, ideally within supply chain, construction, or rental sectors.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and applicable ESG related legislation relevant to UK businesses.
- Eye for detail and the ability to identify compliance gaps and potential risks.
- Effective communicator who can deliver difficult messages professionally while maintaining positive supplier relationships.
- Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and prioritise multiple audits effectively.
- Strong analytical and report‑writing skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to various audiences.
- Full UK driving licence, NEBOSH General Certificate and IRCA Lead Audit (9001, 14001, 45001).
