Internal Communications and Brand Executive – Manchester, Trafford Park (Hybrid working, 1-2 days per week in office) – £35,000 per annum

As Internal Communications and Brand Executive, you will play a central role in shaping how our people experience the business from the inside out. You’ll deliver clear, engaging and consistent communications that translate business priorities into messages that resonate with colleagues across the organisation. At the same time, you will act as a guardian of our internal brand, ensuring we show up in a way that reflects who we are becoming as a modern, technology-led organisation.

The impact you’ll have:

This role is about driving engagement, strengthening culture, and supporting our ambition to become a destination employer. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to bring our strategy, milestones and cultural moments to life.

A typical day:

  • Internal communications
    • Develop and deliver communications plans aligned with strategic business priorities
    • Create engaging content for newsletters, intranet updates, internal emails, leadership announcements and town halls
    • Partner with senior leaders and department heads to shape clear, consistent messaging
    • Support change communications to ensure clarity and alignment during periods of transformation
    • Monitor engagement metrics and continuously improve how we communicate across the business
  • Brand & employer brand
    • Act as a guardian of the internal brand, ensuring materials align with brand guidelines and tone of voice
    • Maintain and evolve brand templates, assets and guidance materials for internal use
    • Support employer branding and brand campaigns in collaboration with HR and Talent teams
    • Plan and deliver campaigns that support key business milestones and cultural initiatives
  • Engagement & culture
    • Coordinate internal events and engagement activities that reinforce our culture and values
    • Support storytelling across the organisation to bring strategy, achievements and colleague experiences to life

What you’ll bring:

You’re a strong communicator who understands how great internal communication can shape culture and engagement. You’re organised, creative and confident working with stakeholders across different parts of the business.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in internal communications, brand, marketing or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences
  • A clear understanding of brand management and tone of voice
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and translating business priorities into clear messaging
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal communication platforms

Desirable:

  • Experience using creative tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
