We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Administrator. In this key finance role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day finance payable operations for the business.
The impact you’ll have: As our Accounts Payable Administrator, you should be confident working with financial systems, have excellent attention to detail and be able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. A proactive approach to problem‑solving and the ability to work collaboratively across teams is essential.
A typical day:
- Processing of supplier invoices, matching to POs and batching invoices in line with company tolerances.
- Verify supplier invoices received, ensuring the information recorded is accurate.
- Process colleagues' expense claims in accordance with HSS ProService Policy.
- Preparation of payment runs in line with HSS ProService payment schedules and agreed payment terms.
- Ensure supplier account reconciliations are performed accurately resolving any issues or discrepancies.
- Deliver performance in line with departmental KPIs and team targets.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and management to resolve queries.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, dealing with query resolution via email or telephone.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role or Shared Service function.
- Experienced Accounts Payable Admin managing multi accounts and multi-disciplined functions working in a high-volume transactional department.
- Proficient in using accounting software.
- Solid knowledge of MS Excel (VLookUps, Pivot tables and data analysis) and other MS office applications is essential.
- Strong analytical & IT skills and confident in problem solving.
- Excellent customer service maintaining active communication both within your team and other departments.
- Ability to work on own initiative and manage confidential information with integrity.
