We’re looking for an experienced Bid Manager – Pricing to lead pricing strategy and commercial modelling across high-value bids and tenders. This is a commercially critical role where you’ll shape how we price, position and win complex opportunities. You’ll work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations and Legal to build competitive, profitable bids — balancing customer value with strong commercial outcomes. If you enjoy turning complexity into clarity, influencing senior stakeholders, and making pricing decisions that directly impact business performance, this role gives you real ownership and visibility.

Responsibilities
  • Lead pricing strategy and commercial modelling for major bids and tenders
  • Develop compelling, data-led pricing proposals that support win strategies
  • Analyse market conditions, customer expectations and competitor pricing
  • Use insight to inform bid strategy and commercial positioning
  • Present pricing recommendations, scenarios and risks to senior stakeholders
  • Support bid governance and decision-making at pace
  • Support post-bid reviews to assess pricing effectiveness and outcomes
  • Track win/loss results and pricing trends to inform future strategies
What you’ll bring
  • Proven experience in pricing, commercial analysis or bid management
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with advanced Excel capability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under pressure
  • High attention to detail combined with a strategic, commercial mindset
  • Experience within the hire, construction, infrastructure or services sector (Desirable not essential)
  • Exposure to complex, high-value tenders or framework bids (Desirable not essential)
