Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Health & Safety Trainer to join our expanding team. This is a pivotal role focused on delivering expert instruction and assessment across a variety of plant and technical health and safety disciplines. You will be responsible for ensuring that all training meets the highest industry standards while maintaining our commitment to site safety and operational excellence.
Essential Requirements (Must-Have)
- NPORS Registered Instructor: Valid and current NPORS Instructor registration is mandatory.
- Professional Qualification: Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent (e.g., PTLLS).
- Technical Background: Solid experience operating or training on heavy plant and machinery.
- Mobility: Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to various regional sites.
Desirable Qualifications
- CITB Site Safety Plus (SSP): Accredited to deliver SMSTS, SSSTS, or HSA.
- EUSR Status: Qualified to deliver training within the Energy & Utility sectors (Water, Gas, or Power).
- Safety Credentials: NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate.
- Additional Skills: Train the Trainer certifications in First Aid, Abrasive Wheels, or Manual Handling.
