Purpose of the Role
This is a genuinely transformative leadership opportunity. Our Data Platform (DP) team is rapidly growing and we’re looking for someone with the skills, knowledge and experience to achieve this. Our goal is for Data to be a growth engine of our UK business, at the forefront of our ambition as the UK’s services partner of choice, for Enterprise clients wishing to drive, innovate and run their businesses with Microsoft.
Four Major Accountabilities
- Business Growth: Build the market opportunity for Data, lead key opportunities, win new clients and grow existing. Primary objective: grow the HSO UK Data business by at least 40% year on year.
- P&L Management: Run the profit and loss as best in class, using best practices and building on these to meet/exceed financial targets.
- Customer Leadership: Serve as an Executive Sponsor on key accounts, coach others to do the same to deliver on client commitments and win multi‑year relationships.
- Talent Development: Build a high‑performing Data team and develop new talent for HSO’s future success.

Essential Experience
- Led, built and grown a multi‑disciplined Data function, preferably with Microsoft technology.
- Leadership experience in consulting services with track record of selling, managing, delivering multi‑million pound engagements and building multi‑year relationships.
- Managed an annual budget > £10m, including investment, forecasting, revenue, profit and loss; proved risk management.
- Deployed and leveraged technology (e.g., AI) and new ways of working to improve business performance.
- Worked collaboratively in a business with multiple lines of business.
- Led a geographically dispersed team of at least 8 direct reports and total team 20+ people; led through significant change and business improvement.
Location
This hybrid role can be based either from London, Glasgow or Manchester offices or from home. Regular planned travel, overnight stays near offices and other UK locations for customer/internal meetings, events and training. Occasional planned international travel is expected.
