Our client is looking for a Cleaning Project Manager Payrate: Starting at £14.25 per hour Must have full UK driving licence Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, average, but as necessary. It should be noted that the majority of cleaning is undertaken in the early evening and early morning (an approximate split being 80/20 respectively ) and as such split times will be common. Benefits: 28 days paid holiday per annum. Company vehicle, mobile phone, tablet. The Cleaning Project Manager would ensure that new cleaning contracts are commissioned in a professional and efficient manner, before being handed over to the Area Managers for the implementation of normal day-to-day management. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * To train, motivate permanent members of start-up teams. * Visit site with Surveyor to familiarise and to check store room, power points, water supply, waste disposal, fire exits, first aid box, etc. * Develop and implement a start-up project plan for new contracts. * Identify potential problems and hazards. * Write / approve employee specifications. * Liaise with clients and identify any changing needs. * Re-tune job specifications and schedules in the light of experience. * Explore ways of improving efficiency of cleaning schedules and work methods. Recommend and implement necessary changes to specification in consultation with clients. * Record and monitor start-up costs. * Recruit, select and train permanent site staff. * Organise cover for staff absence. * Perform customer care visits, in accordance with the Customer Care Programme. * Record, monitor and resolve customer dissatisfaction. * Journey plan to achieve optimum cost effectiveness. * Undertake special projects as requested by the Head of Operations If you believe you have the project management experience for this role please apply, ensuring your CV is up to date
