A growing packaging and supply chain business is looking to recruit a commercially driven Inside Sales Representative to join its Sales & Operations team in Leicester. Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and cold call potential new customers
  • Build and manage a pipeline of smaller accounts
  • Qualify leads and nurture relationships through to repeat business
  • Quote and negotiate with customers professionally
  • Attend online customer meetings
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and weekly activity updates
  • Escalate larger commercial opportunities to Senior Sales Managers

Operations Support Responsibilities

  • Send order acknowledgements to customers
  • Coordinate deliveries and shipment notifications

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 1–2 years’ experience in sales support, account management, business development, or similar
  • Confident making outbound cold calls

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Self‑motivated, resilient, and driven to succeed

  • Experience within packaging, FMCG, logistics, or supply chain environments

  • Experience in food‑grade or BRC‑accredited environments
