Our client is looking for an experienced Commercial Gas & Heating Engineer to join their established team. This is a field-based role working across a mix of commercial sites including schools, factories, and industrial units, with some domestic work included. Key Responsibilities
- Installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial heating systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics on boilers and associated systems
- Routine maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency
- Occasional domestic work
- Working from technical drawings and specifications
- Ensuring all work meets current regulations and standards
- Delivering high levels of customer service
- Completing job reports and documentation accurately
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial gas role
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on commercial and domestic systems
- Full UK driving licence
Qualifications (Essential)
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or above)
- Commercial Gas: COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, BMP1
- Domestic Gas: CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1
Desirable Skills
- Oil, solid fuel, or catering tickets
- Experience with ASHPs or alternative fuels
- Familiarity with mobile job management systems
