HSL are currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client in Coventry for two experienced Temporary Assembly Operators to support their production team. This is a great opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment working with a well-established company, supporting assembly operations within a fast-paced production line.

- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Role Overview
Successful candidates will be working within a production and assembly environment, supporting the manufacture and assembly of products using hand and air tools. You will be expected to work efficiently as part of an assembly line, following clear processes and maintaining production standards. As part of the selection process, shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a trial session where they will complete approximately ½ sub-assemblies. This will allow the client to assess practical ability, attention to detail, and confidence working with tools and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Working on an assembly line in a manufacturing environment
- Assembling components using hand and air tools
- Carrying out sub-assembly work for production
- Working to defined processes and production standards
- Handling small components accurately and safely
- Supporting general production duties as required
- Standing for long periods during shifts
- Occasional manual handling / light lifting
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in an assembly, production, or manufacturing role
- Mechanically minded with good practical skills
- Confident using hand and/or air tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work to process
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Experience in mechanical fitting or similar environments is desirable
