You are applying for the Water Hygiene Technician position at HSL Compliance in South Wales. Full‑time, permanent role. 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Monthly pay range: £25,000‑£30,000 (subject to experience).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine monitoring inspections, including temperature testing of water outlets, inspection of TMVs, cold water tanks, and hot water storage vessels.
- Perform showerhead cleaning and disinfection.
- Collect water samples and manage sampling schedule.
- Audit logbooks using PDA and digital reporting systems.
- Carry out Legionella control duties in line with ACoP L8 & HSG274.
- Assist with maintenance and remedial tasks as required.
- Travel between multiple sites across South Wales.
- Ensure all tasks are completed accurately, safely and to a high standard.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and methodical approach.
- Confident working independently after training.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Satisfactory DBS check.
- Previous experience in water hygiene or building services is a bonus; full training will be provided for the right candidate.
