About The Role
HSL Compliance is looking for practical, hands-on Remedial Technicians to join our team. You’ll carry out plumbing and water hygiene work to help clients stay compliant with safety regulations. Tasks include tank cleans, TMV servicing, basic plumbing, flushing, and disinfection. This is a full-time, permanent, field-based role with travel across your local area. You’ll report to an Account Manager and work closely with our technical and compliance teams. We provide full training, equipment, and support to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform remedial plumbing and water hygiene tasks to ensure compliance
- Install and maintain pipework, tanks, valves, and fittings
- Carry out temperature checks, water sampling, flushing, and descaling
- Support risk assessments and apply control measures
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Communicate with clients and colleagues clearly
- Follow all health & safety procedures
Skills & Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
- Legionella Awareness (ACoP L8 & HSG274 compliance)
- Water Hygiene training (disinfection and risk assessment)
- Health & Safety training (COSHH, manual handling, working at heights)
