We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our welcoming team. The role carries 21 hours per week, based at Wellingborough HSL. Salary: £12.80 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional level of personalised service to introduce feel‑good furniture to customers.
- Greet customers, offer shelter such as an umbrella, and guide them through our unique chair fitting service.
- Help customers discover the wellbeing benefits of our chairs and sofas, supporting them in selecting style, fabric and size that suits their needs.
- Maintain the showroom, ensuring it feels fresh, tidy and welcoming.
- Work a mix of weekdays and weekends; the showroom is open every day.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualification and experience
- Warm, empathetic and friendly approach.
- Excellent eye for detail and pride in presentation.
- Passion for people and helping others.
- Enthusiasm, positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Previous retail sales and customer service experience is a plus.
- DBS check will apply.
