Sales Assistant in Nottingham

Overview

Hours: 28 hours per week. Location: Nottingham. Salary: £12.30 per hour. We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our welcoming team.

What you’ll do

Can you deliver an exceptional level of personalised service both in store and in customers’ homes, to introduce them to feel good furniture and in turn improve their wellbeing? Then this opportunity could be the perfect fit.

Responsibilities

• From the moment our customers walk through the door, or you walk into their home, create a warm and memorable experience.
• Greet customers with a smile, assist with our unique chair fitting service, and guide them through our products to find a style, fabric and size that suits their needs.
• Help keep the showroom looking its best, ensuring everything feels fresh, tidy and welcoming.
• Work a mix of weekdays and weekends; be prepared to contribute to a welcoming environment every day.

What you’ll need

• A warm, empathetic and friendly approach
• A great eye for detail and pride in your presentation
• A passion for people and helping others
• While previous experience in retail sales and customer service is a plus, it’s your enthusiasm, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn that truly matters

Training and development

We\\\’ll support you with in-depth training through our HSL Academy at Comfort House in West Yorkshire, with hands‑on learning and expert guidance from our independent Occupational Therapist, Julie Jennings. We\\\’re proud to help our people grow.
