Designated Safeguarding Lead for January 2027
Salary: Leadership Pay Scale L5 to L9 dependent on experience

We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead. This individual will put the safeguarding of all as a priority. The individual will be passionate about ensuring the best outcomes for all students, regardless of their starting points. This is a crucial role within the school.
Ideally, you will have experience in Safeguarding and be DSL level 3 trained, although an exceptional candidate who is willing to learn and take the qualification, will be considered.

The successful candidate for the post would ideally:

Have a degree and training in Safeguarding

Be child centred with empathy and compassion for students.

Have the ability to work as a team and with a range of people including students, staff, parents, stakeholders and external agencies.

Understand the relevant legal frameworks for safeguarding and have a working knowledge of all policies and best practice.

Have a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable personality
