Due to continued growth, we are expanding our service team and are inviting applications for a Field Service Engineer covering Manchester and the surrounding area.
The Role
Working on a mobile basis, you will be responsible for the commissioning, servicing and maintenance of HSG’s market-leading, sustainable washroom products across a national client portfolio.
You will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and customer service at all times. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and making a real environmental impact through their work.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be motivated, reliable and detail-focused, with a strong customer-first mindset and the flexibility to go the extra mile.
Essential & Desirable Skills
- Basic plumbing experience (essential)
- Level 1 Plumbing Qualification or equivalent (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points)
- DBS full screening (no criminal record)
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good ICT skills (training provided on Collabaro & Verisae)
- Flexible, adaptable and professional attitude
Training & Support
We are fully committed to your success. You’ll complete a comprehensive training programme, including:
- 2 weeks at our Derby headquarters
- 6 weeks of field-based training alongside an experienced engineer
Ongoing support, refresher training and development opportunities are provided as part of your career progression with HSG.
