HSF Group manufactures a range of high-quality engineering solutions for customers across a variety of sectors. Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for CNC Operator'sto join our team in Bellaghy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering work to a high standard.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings to manufacture components accurately
  • Setting up and operating CNC press brake / tube laser machinery
  • Folding, profiling, cutting and processing components to the required specifications
  • Checking dimensions, bend angles and tolerances to maintain quality standards
  • Selecting the correct tooling and machine settings for each job
  • Carrying out grinding, deburring and finishing work where required
  • Operating overhead cranes, lifting equipment and hand tools safely
  • Inspecting completed parts to ensure they meet drawing and company requirements
  • Working flexibly across CNC operations as production demands require
  • Working closely with supervisors and production colleagues to maintain an efficient workflow

Experience and Skills Required

Applicants should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in this field
  • The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • A good understanding of engineering or workshop processes
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and use your own initiative
