Would you like to strategically and operationally lead a well ingrained, centralised function for Health, Safety and Environment? Continuing to drive accountability to the site leaders and ensuring the site is future fit? If so, this role could be for you!
Group Health, Safety and Environment Manager - UK Wide Midlands / Northamptonshire based ideally as the largest site is in Corby. Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 per annum + 15 – 20% Bonus and company car scheme worth circa £7,000 (plus additional package).
The most senior role for Health, Safety and Environment for the UK within this global organisation; with responsibility to develop and coach 1 direct report. Health and safety is paramount, already ingrained to a high standard across all sites. It is managed centrally and is driven and supported from the top, creating a very mature culture of accountability and they are on a journey to world class safety and interdependency.
Offering a perfect balance of operational and strategic responsibilities with a need for visible leadership to ensure the sites are sufficiently supported. To design, deploy, manage and monitor the HS&E programme across the business, driving and deepening cultural engagement. There will be some guidance from corporate but you will have full creative control to create the strategy for HSE for the sites to lead/action, identify areas of improvement and ensure that the sites continue to improve, strive to be better and are future fit. Lead major upcoming projects and programmes.

Qualifications and experience:
- NEBOSH Certificate or ideally Diploma (or equivalent) combined with experience managing multiple sites in a fast paced manufacturing environment (ie, chemical, fermentation, agricultural, food, beverage, paper, packaging, recycling, manufacturing, bakery, dairy, tobacco, machinery, textiles, ingredients).
