Job Description

HSE Recruitment are working with an established manufacturing company in Newark who are looking for a new Safety, Health & Environmental Manager to lead the safety culture and performance across the site.

\If you want to join a business where safety is driven from the top and the culture is one of improvement, not just in safety, but across all departments, then this could be for you.

\Your role is to support the site in moving from a dependant to an interdependent safety culture.

Reporting into the Plant Manager and sitting on the senior management team, you will provide the direction, support and clarity in relation to health and safety.

You will have a dotted line into a Head of HSE and work alongside a wider company EHS team.

\You will take ownership for all Safety, Health and Wellbeing activities on site.

A strong HSE Manager or Senior HSE Advisor who is going to bring the technical skills and knowledge as well as the softer skills.

\NEBOSH Certificate level qualified as a minimum.

\Background across any manufacturing or engineering, factory focused environment will be considered.
