A leading UK property business with a large multi-site portfolio across commercial and mixed-use environments is continuing to invest in the growth of its internal Health, Safety & Fire function, building stronger in-house capability across the UK.
Reporting into the Group Head of Health & Safety, you will support a portfolio of sites across the South region, working closely with Facilities and Centre Management teams to provide practical Health, Safety & Fire guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessments
- Review external assessments and provide recommendations
- Support site teams with day-to-day H&S and Fire guidance
- Deliver pragmatic and commercially focused solutions
- Support auditing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build strong relationships across regional sites
- Experience within Health & Safety and Fire Safety roles
- Comfortable managing a regional multi-site portfolio
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially aware, pragmatic and solutions focused
- Experience undertaking and reviewing Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety audits
- Strong working knowledge of UK Health & Safety and Fire Safety legislation
- Proven experience within FM, property or built environment environments
- Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively
- Full UK driving licence
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, with evidence of continued professional development (CPD)
- NEBOSH or NCRQ Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety desirable
- NEBOSH Fire Safety / Fire Risk Management or Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification desirable
- IOSH membership preferred (CertIOSH minimum or working towards CMIOSH)
