HSE’s Estates and Facilities Management portfolio is extensive, with 25 offices in England, Scotland and Wales and a world-class Science and Research Centre near Buxton, England. Our offices range in size from supporting a half dozen staff in Inverness to our head office in Bootle, Merseyside which has capacity for over 3,000 people.
Our Estate Strategy includes retaining a regional presence in support of our GB regulatory role and working closely with the Government Property Agency to continue to drive best value for money for HSE. You will be one of three senior property managers with direct responsibility for the management of the relevant allocated regions; delivery of associated estate events and projects; monitoring of facilities management performance; identifying continuous improvements and contributing as a member of the senior estates team.
Please note your portfolio for this role will initially cover our Northern sites from Birmingham up to Inverness and there is a requirement to travel regularly to the locations within your portfolio. Due to a team restructure, and for operational requirements, you may also be asked to cover another region in the future, or to assist at any of our locations on an ad hoc basis. Attendance will also be required at our Bootle HQ for team meetings.
