The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is Britain’s national regulator for workplace health and safety. We are dedicated to protecting people and places and helping everyone lead safer and healthier lives. We are looking for a Data & Management Information Analyst who will work within multidisciplinary teams to support the delivery of the various organisational benefits and enhancements. You will be responsible for supporting work across digital and transformation projects to articulate business and user requirements, design and implement new services, processes, organisational structures and ways of working. You will also provide continuous improvement support to HSE’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding and interpreting business problems to identify and implement appropriate data solutions.
  • Leading the creation of data models and conceptual & logical data structures, to support recommendations and inform the design and implementation of new services and processes across HSE.
  • Collecting, preparing, analysing, presenting and reporting on large and complex qualitative and quantitative datasets, using a range of analysis and modelling techniques to derive actionable insights and identify / predict trends.
  • Leading the creation of planning and performance reporting frameworks and the definition of KPIs to maximise operational excellence.
  • Analysing, modelling and forecasting the impact of change initiatives on existing operational and financial KPIs.
  • Utilising programming skills for data and analytics.
  • Identifying, collecting and migrating data to/from a range of systems.
